PYthon Piedmont Triad User Group meeting
Come join PYPTUG at out next meeting (February 24th 2014) to learn more about the Python programming language, modules and tools. Python is the perfect language to learn if you've never programmed before, and at the other end, it is also the perfect tool that no expert would do without.
What
Meeting will start at 5:30pm.We will open on an Intro to PYPTUG and on how to get started with Python, PYPTUG activities and members projects, then on to News from the community. After that, on to our main talk.

First Class: Functional Thinking with Generators and Decorators
by Blake HydePresenter's bio: ""I am a Java and Ruby programmer at my current day job. I worked at Inmar, designing and implementing web services in Python, from the beginning of 2012 to March 2013. I've been using Python for personal projects and professionally since about 2002."
Abstract: "An introduction to first-class functions, how they relate to generators and decorators, and why you might want to use them."

And speaking of parking: Parking after 5pm is on a first-come, first-serve basis. The official parking policy is:

to register for a parking permit."
